The Altoona Fire Department strives to provide high quality public education to the citizens of Altoona. The risk of fire related incidents is a constant threat to the safety and well-being of our citizens. The Altoona Fire Department believes that public education plays an important role in the mitigation of this risk. Through our public education programs, we provide several services that assist the citizens of Altoona in becoming better informed on fire safety related issues.
