"Born and raised in Altoona, I continue to reside here with my wife, Alisha, and our two children, Heidi and Caleb. After graduation from Altoona Area High School I earned an associate degree in Surveying Technology from Penn State and have been a licensed professional Land Surveyor practicing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania since 1996.  Serving over one hundred municipalities throughout PA for over twenty-five years has given me valuable experience to bring to City Council. I have served on Council since January 2010 and have been instrumental in righting the fiscal ship of the City, eliminating blight on many properties, along with making it easier to do business and land development in our City.  It is a blessing to have the opportunity to work with our residents, staff and area elected officials to continue to make Altoona a better place to live, work and worship.  I head the Surveying and Geospatial Services Department at Lehman Engineers, serve as lay Pastor at Independent Christian Bible Church, volunteer as a youth counselor at Promised Land Christian Camp in Conestoga, Lancaster County, PA and serve on the Geospatial Committee of the Pennsylvania Society of Land Surveyor's.  My hobbies include hunting and fishing."
